Living rooms appeal Belfast

The living rooms appeal is now over, and patients in the Marie Curie Hospice Belfast are benefitting from the many improvements to the building.

The Living rooms appeal was a two year £3 million refurbishment and extension project for the Marie Curie Hospice, Belfast.

The development has doubled the size of the hospice to include an outpatient and day therapy area, as well as a modern in-patient unit with 17 fully-serviced en suite rooms.

The new facilities are designed to provide greater privacy, dignity and quality of care to patients and their families.

The appeal is now closed and the project completed, but none of the improvements would have been possible without the dedication and generosity of the appeal's supporters.

See below for a selection of images to show how the architect's drawings were turned into reality.

We would like to say an enormous thank you to everybody who contributed to the appeal.
